چکیده

مقدمه:متاسفانه با وجود مزایای بسیار زیاد (Cone Beam Computed Tomography :CBCT) موارد تجویز این روش توسط دندان‌پزشکان شهر اصفهان بسیار کم است که می‌تواند ناشی از عدم دانش کافی از CBCT یا عدم آگاهی از موارد تجویز CBCT باشد. هدف از مطالعه حاضر تعیین آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان عمومی شاغل در شهر اصفهان از CBCT در سال 1393 بود. مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی بر روی 240 دندان‌پزشک عمومی شرکت‌کننده در جلسات بازآموزی انجام شد. دندان‌پزشکان در شهر اصفهان مشغول به فعالیت بودند و به روش نمونه‌گیری تصادفی ساده انتخاب گردیدند. یک پرسش‌نامه که مشتمل بر 14 پرسش درمورد آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان و 7 سؤال در مورد مزایا و معایب CBCT، سابقه تجویز آن و دلایل تجویز و عدم تجویز CBCT بود طراحی و بین دندان‌پزشکان تقسیم گردید. داده‌های به‌دست آمده با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و جداول و نمودارها مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. یافته‌ها: از 240 دندان‌پزشک عمومی شرکت‌کننده در این تحقیق 145 نفر، مرد 60/4 درصد و 95 نفر، زن 39/6 درصد بودند. 79/7 درصد شرکت‌کنندگان ذکر کردند که آموزش‌های لازم در مورد موارد استفاده از CBCT  را نگذرانده بودند و تنها 3/20 درصد از شرکت‌کنندگان آموزش دیده بودند. علاوه بر این 2/6 درصد از شرکت‌کنندگان از وجود دستگاه CBCT در شهر اصفهان اطلاع نداشتند. به طور کلی اغلب شرکت‌کنندگان نمره آگاهی در حد متوسط و خوب کسب کردند.نتیجه‌گیری: بر اساس نتایج مطالعه حاضردندان‌پزشکان عمومی شاغل در شهر اصفهان آگاهی متوسط رو به بالایی از CBCT داشتند. کلیدواژه‌ها: رادیولوژی، تصویربرداری دیجیتال، توموگرافی کامپیوتری با اشعه مخروطی، آگاهی

Evaluation of awareness of dentists in Isfahan about CBCT in 2015

Introduction: Unfortunately, despite various advantages of CBCT technique, prescription of CBCT by dentists in Isfahan is low, which might be attributed to low awareness about CBCT or its indications. The aim of this study was to evaluate awareness of dentists in Isfahan about CBCT in 2015. Materials and methods: In this cross sectional study 240 dentists in Isfahan taking part in a re-training course were selected with simple random sampling technique. A questionnaire consisting of 14 questions on awareness and 7 questions on CBCT, its advantages and disadvantages, a history of its prescription and reasons for prescribing and not describing it was distributed among them. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, tables and figures.Results: Of 240 dentists taking part in this study, 145 were male (60.4%) and 95 were female (39.6%); 79.7% of the subjects had not received sufficient education about CBCT and only 20.3% had received education in this respect. Furthermore, 2.6% of the subjects did not know CBCT was available in Isfahan. On the whole, the majority of the subjects achieved moderate to good awareness scores. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, awareness of dentists in Isfahan about CBCT was moderate to good.  Key words: Awareness, Cone-beam computed tomography, Digital radiography, Radiology.
