بررسی آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان عمومی شهر اصفهان در مواجهه با دشواری‌های حین جراحی و عوارض پس از جراحی ایمپلنت دندانی

چکیده

مقدمه: ایمپلنت‌های دندانی، یک روش موفق در جایگزینی دندان‌های از دست رفته می‌باشد. دندان‌پزشکان عمومی علاقمند به درمان ایمپلنت، باید از دانش لازم در این زمینه برخوردار باشند تا بتوانند در راستای ارتقای سلامت جامعه، خدمات دندان‌پزشکی پیشرفته‌ای را ارایه دهند. مطالعه‌ی حاضر با هدف بررسی آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان عمومی شهر اصفهان در مواجهه با دشواری‌های حین جراحی و عوارض پس از جراحی ایمپلنت دندانی در سال 1395 در شهر اصفهان انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه‌ی توصیفی بود، تعداد ۱۰۰ نفر از دندان‌پزشکان عمومی شهر اصفهان انتخاب شدند و پرسش‌نامه‌ها توسط آن‌ها تکمیل گردید. نتایج این پرسش‌نامه‌ها با آزمون‌های تی مستقل و ضریب همبستگی پیرسون در نرم‌افزار SPSS نسخه‌ی 22 در سطح معنی‌داری کمتر از 5 درصد محاسبه گردید.
یافته ها: سطح آگاهی اکثر دندان‌پزشکان مورد بررسی (78 درصد) کم یا متوسط بود. نمره‌ی آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان با سن (66/0 = p value) و سابقه‌ی طبابت (45/0 = p value) آن‌ها رابطه‌ی معنی‌دار نداشت. میانگین نمره‌ی آگاهی دندان‌پزشکانی که سابقه‌ی انجام درمان ایمپلنت داشتند، بطور معنی‌داری بیشتر از سایرین بود (p value < 0/001).
نتیجه گیری: میزان آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان عمومی در مواجهه با دشواری‌ها و عوارض حین و پس از جراحی ایمپلنت دندانی کافی نیست. همچنین میزان آموزش تئوری و مخصوصاً عملی در این زمینه، محدود بوده و دندان‌پزشکان عمومی به خوبی مطالب تئوری و عملی این مبحث را در طی دوران تحصیل خود آموزش ندیده‌اند.

Introduction: Implants are a successful method for replacing missing teeth. General dental practitioners interested in implants should have the necessary knowledge in this field to improve public health in order to provide their advanced dental services. This study aimed to assess the knowledge of dentists in Isfahan about problems and complications during and after implant surgery in 2017 in Isfahan.
Materials and Methods: A total of 100 general dentists of Isfahan were selected for the purpose of this cross-sectional study. Questionnaires were completed by the dentists. Data collected from the questionnaires were analyzed with independent t-test and Pearson’s correlation coefficient, using SPSS 22 (α = 0.05).
Results: Most dentists (78%) had low or average level of awareness. Age (p value = 0.66) and experience (p value = 0.45) had no significant relationship with knowledge score. Mean knowledge scores of dentists who had implant therapy experience were significantly higher than the others.
Conclusion: The level of knowledge of general dentist was not adequate about the problems and complications encountered during and after implant surgery. In addition, the level of theoretical and practical education in particular in this area was limited and general dentists were not properly instructed in implant dentistry during their years of training.
