بررسی میزان آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان عمومی شهر اردبیل درباره‌ی داروهای تجویز شده در درمان ریشه دندان.

چکیده

مقدمه: دندان‌پزشک باید اطلاعات کافی نسبت به داروهایی که تجویز می‏کند و داروهای مورد استفاده‌ی بیماران با مشکلات سیستمیک داشته باشد. هدف این مطالعه، بررسی میزان آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان عمومی شهر اردبیل در زمینه‌ی دارو‏‏های مورد مصرف در درمان‏‏ ریشه‌ی دندان بود.
مواد و روش‌ها: در این مطالعه‌ی مقطعی- توصیفی، میزان اطلاعات دندان‌پزشکان عمومی اردبیل در مورد دارو‏های مورد مصرف در درمان‏های ریشه‌ی دندان‌پزشکی در سال 1395-1396 بررسی گردید. بدین منظور، پرسش‌نامه‌ای طراحی شد و تعداد 80 نفر از دندان‌پزشکان عمومی، پرسش‌نامه‌ی مزبور را تکمیل نمودند. در پرسش‌نامه راجع به اطلاعات دموگرافیک و میزان آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان پرسش به عمل آمد. پس از جمع‌آوری داده‏ها، اطلاعات به ‌دست‌ آمده در نرم‌افزار آماری SPSS نسخه‌ی 23 با استفاده از آمار توصیفی و تحلیل واریانس یک‌طرفه مورد تجزیه و تحلیل آماری قرار گرفتند (α = 0/05). 
یافته‌ها: نتایج نشان داد که میانگین آگاهی (6/91 ± 14/56) در مورد داروهای مورد استفاده در درمان ریشه، متوسط می‌باشد؛ همچنین نتایج نشان داد که تفاوت معنی‌داری در میانگین آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان در مورد داروهای مورد استفاده در درمان ریشه بر اساس سن، سابقه و نوع دانشگاه وجود دارد (p value < 0/05)؛ اما تفاوت معنی‌داری در میانگین آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان در مورد داروهای مورد استفاده در درمان ریشه بر اساس جنسیت و منبع کسب آگاهی وجود ندارد (p value < 0/05).
نتیجه‌گیری: میزان آگاهی دندان‌پزشکان عمومی در مورد داروهای مورد مصرف دندان‌پزشکی در درمان ریشه، در حد متوسط می‌باشد. ارتباط معکوس میان پیشینه‌ی کار و نمره‌ی آگاهی، نشانگر این موضوع است که اطلاعات دندان‌پزشکان با افزایش پیشینه‌ی کار، به‌ روز نشده و در این زمینه پیگیری جدی وجود ندارد. این مسأله نیاز به دوره‏های بازآموزی برای دندان‌پزشکان، پیرامون داروهای مورد مصرف در دندان‌پزشکی در درمان ریشه را مشخص می‎نماید.

Awareness of General Dentists of Ardabil City (Iran) about Prescribed Drugs in Dental Root Procedures

Introduction: A dentist must be aware about the medications that he/she prescribes, particularly those taken by patients with systemic disorders. The present study focused on the level of knowledge of general dentists in Ardabil concerning the medications prescribed during root canal treatment.
Materials and Methods: The present cross sectional–descriptive study focused on the knowledge possessed by Ardabil general dentists concerning the medications prescribed during root canal treatment in 2016‒2017. To this end, we developed a questionnaire which was completed by as many as 80 general dentists. The questionnaire consisted of questions on demographic data and level of awareness of the dentists. Data were analyzed with SPSS 23, using descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA (α = 0.05).
Results: The results suggested that the level of knowledge on the drugs prescribed during root canal treatment was moderate (14.56 ± 6.91). Furthermore, the results showed that the mean knowledge levels of the dentists concerning the medications prescribed during root canal treatment were significantly different in terms of age, experience and university of origin (p value < 0.05). In contrast, there was no significant difference in terms of gender and source of knowledge acquisition (p value > 0.05).
Conclusion: The level of knowledge of the general dentists in Ardabil concerning medications prescribed during root canal treatment was moderate. The inverse relation between the experience and level of knowledge indicates that knowledge of the dentists is not updated relative their increasing experience and no serious measures have been taken to update their knowledge. This reveals the need for consideration of retraining courses for the dentists concerning the medications prescribed during root canal treatment.
