مرور روایتی بر تشخیص و درمان انواع زخم‌های دهانی

چکیده

مقدمه: تشخیص و درمان ضایعات دهانی از طرفی به دلیل مواجه‌ی محدود پزشک با شرایطی که ممکن است باعث ایجاد ضایعات شود و از طرف دیگر به علت ظاهر مشابه آنها، اغلب چالش‌برانگیز است.
مواد و روش‌ها: در حالی که بسیاری از زخم‌های دهانی می‌توانند نتیجه‌ی یک ترومای مزمن ساده باشند، برخی دیگر ممکن است نشان‌دهنده یک وضعیت سیستمیک زمینه‌ای مانند اختلال در عملکرد دستگاه گوارش، بدخیمی، ناهنجاری ایمونولوژیک یا بیماری پوستی و غیره باشند. از این‌رو یک تشخیص قطعی و درست برای پزشکانی که با بیماران مبتلا به زخم‌های دهانی مواجهه می‌شوند از اهمیت زیادی برخوردار است. درمان و مدیریت صحیح این دسته از بیماران نیازمند رسیدن به یک درک و آگاهی از ماهیت چندعلتی زخم‌های دهانی و شناخت انواع آنها و تسلط بر راه‌های تشخیص و افتراق آنها است.
نتیجه گیری: این مطالعه سعی داشت نحوه‌ی تشخیص و افتراق انواع گوناگون از زخم‌های دهانی و سپس راه مدیریت و درمان آنها را بیان کند.

Diagnosis and Management of Oral Ulcers; A Narrative Review

چکیده [English]

Introduction: The diagnosis and treatment of oral lesions are often challenging due to the clinician’s limited exposure to the conditions that may cause the lesions and their similar appearances.
Description: While many oral ulcers are the result of chronic trauma, some may indicate an underlying systemic condition such as gastrointestinal dysfunction, malignancy, immunologic abnormality, or cutaneous disease, .... Correctly establishing a definitive diagnosis is of major importance to clinicians who manage patients with oral mucosal disease. The correct treatment and management of these patients requires an understanding of the multi-factorial nature of the lesions, recognition of their types, and mastering the ways of their diagnosis and differentiation.
Conclusion: This review addresses how to differentiate and diagnose varying types of oral ulcers and provide a treatment strategy.
