مروری بر پیچیدگی‌های درمان لمینت‌های سرامیکی

چکیده

مقدمه: درمان با لمینت ونیرهای سرامیکی (Porcelain laminate veneers) PLV نرخ موفقیت و بقای بالایی دارد اما این موفقیت و بقا تحت تأثیر برخی پیچیدگی‌ها به خطر می‌افتد. هدف از این مطالعه، بررسی این پیچیدگی‌ها و عوامل مؤثر بر آن‌ها بود.
شرح مقاله: ترک و دباند شدن به ترتیب شایع‌ترین پیچیدگی‌های درمان PLV هستند. پوسیدگی‌های ثانویه، مشکلات اندودونتیک، تغییر رنگ لبه‌ها و تغییر رنگ ونیر از دیگر پیچیدگی‌های این درمان هستند.
نتیجه‌گیری: فاکتورهای متعددی از جمله عادات پارافانکشنال و براکسیسم، تکنیک آماده‌سازی و یا سمنتیشن نامناسب، تطابق لبه‌ای نامناسب ونیر و استفاده از مواد نامناسب بر بروز پیچیدگی‌های این درمان مؤثر هستند و با مدیریت آن‌ها می‌توان بقا و موفقیت درمان PLV را ارتقا داد.

A Review of Complications of Porcelain Laminate Veneer Treatment

Introduction: Treatment with Porcelain laminate veneers (PLV) has a high success and survival rate, but some complications endanger this success and survival. This study aims to investigate these complications and their contributory factors.
Description: Fracture and debonding, respectively, are the most common PLV treatment complications. Secondary caries, endodontic problems, marginal discoloration, and veneer discoloration are other complications of this treatment.
Conclusion: Several factors such as parafunctional activities and bruxism, inadequate preparation technique, inadequate cementation technique, inadequate veneer marginal fitness, and using improper material are contributory to this treatment’s complications, and survival and success of PLV treatment can be improved by managing them.
